Merrill Lynch replaces Castillo as EMEA Wealth Head

Bank of America Merrill Lynch today named David Jervis as head of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to succeed Eva Castillo when she departs at the end of the year.

Jervis, a 16-year Merrill veteran, is currently head of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Senior Relationship Management (SRM) group for global banking and markets in EMEA, where he works with fund manager and hedge fund clients across the region.

Prior to his role as head of SRM, he was head of institutional equity sales in Europe from 2002 until 2005. He previously served as Chairman of Merrill Lynch capital markets in France from 2000 to 2002 and joined Merrill Lynch in 1993 as head of Japanese equity sales.
