The planned 5th Annual Collateral Management Forum in Amsterdam on June 2-3 will take up a variety of issues, including numerous challenges presented to financial institutions by continual regulatory changes.

The European Association of CCP Clearing Houses (EACH), the International Capital Market Association (ICMA), the central banks of Germany, Canada and Ireland, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago will be among institutions represented at the forum.

Major banks such as UniCredit, Citi, Credit Suisse, Société Générale, Barclays, Santander, Commerzbank, Standard Chartered will also take part in the conference, organised by the GLC Europe company.

Retail banking is the subject of one more GLC-organised conference, to be held on the same dates.

Macroeconomic challenges have caused the growth of retail lending to slow rapidly in recent years, and the agenda of the 4th Annual Retail Banking Forum in Budapest on June 2-3 includes discussions on ways of finding customers in this situation.

The participants will include Raiffeisen, ING and Royal Bank of Scotland.
