Blockchain, cryptos to be among topics at Rhode Island family office forum

Blockchain and cryptocurrencies will be among a multitude of subjects to be raised at the Family Office & Private Wealth Management Forum in Newport, Rhode Island, on July 16-18.

The vast array of speakers will include executives of SALT Asset Partners, a crypto private asset manager based in Denver, Colorado.

The forum will also delve into asset protection strategies, new challenges in structuring family offices in 2017 and beyond, and new asset classes, but this is just a fraction of the agenda.

With more than 1,000 delegates, there will be a good chance to meet potential clients.

The forum, organised by New York-based global conference organiser Opal Group, will solely consist of panel discussions.

Power point presentations will be prohibited during the sessions. They may, however, be made available on a mobile app if sent in in a PDF or PowerPoint format, and will be allowed to be made by standalone speakers provided they do not include any product pitching or advertising.

EmergingMarkets.me readers will qualify for participation cost discount of 15 per cent.

The event will start with an annual Regatta Cup race across the harbour. Delegates will be able to take part.
