Blockchain’s entry into emerging markets put on London forum agenda

Blockchain will be among numerous subjects to be raised at a large-scale annual forum on emerging markets on March 9-10 that has been organised by the Students’ Union of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE SU).

There will be about 50 speakers – senior company managers, academics and journalists from all over the world, – at the ninth LSE SU Emerging Markets Forum, to be held in London.

They will discuss what is happening in a variety of fields, including investment, trade, Islamic finance, energy and healthcare.

Blockchain will be the subject of one of the forum’s sessions – a workshop whose theme is designated as “Blockchain in EM: This Revolution Will Be Tokenised”.

The workshop will be led by Chik Soon Nean, an adviser at QCP Capital. Chik is involved in various blockchain initiatives and helps build data-driven solutions at Deloitte.

The forum’s venue is De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms.
