Chinese Speaking Account Opening Assistant, London

As an Account Opening Assistant you will support the drive for new client acquisition by providing an exceptional customer service in the account opening process, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You’ll interact across the international offices to support them in the account opening process for clients from the various regions.

We want you to bring your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and language skills to help drive our business growth.

Responsibilities:

* Preparing the various account applications received ensuring that all relevant documentation is complete and collected in line with regulations and the company’s Account Opening procedures.

* To execute account opening processes across the various systems and activate the accounts.

* Liaison with the relevant party in the absence of required documentation, to allow the account to be signed off and opened as soon as possible.
* Provide a professional, efficient and friendly service to all customers and deal with queries and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
* Assisting in projects and ad hoc duties when necessary.

 

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent spoken and written English
* Excellent spoken and written Mandarin (fluent); fluency in another language is an advantage
* Effective communication skills, written and oral
* Strong attention to detail
* Goal orientated, results driven and goes the extra mile to get things done
* Work well as part of a team in a pressurised and multi-tasking environment
* Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
Educational / Experience Requirements:

* Ideally educated to degree level
* Experience in any Financial Services environment is an advantage

 

Personal Specification:

The successful candidate will be customer focused, confident and have strong attention to detail. As part of a company that is constantly expanding and evolving, you would need to be easily able to adapt to change and use initiative where needed.

 

Working Hours: 7am-4pm
