Esemplia Emerging Markets announced the appointment of Samantha Ho as head of Hong Kong and China equities, effective immediately. She is based in Hong Kong.
Ho has overall responsibility for managing Esemplia’s Hong Kong and China equity investment team, and driving the firm’s growth plans in the market.
Ho has over 25 years of experience in fund management and a strong track record in managing Chinese equity strategies (including local QFII) for institutional and retail investors around the globe. She was previously with Invesco Hong Kong where she spent eight years, mostly recently as investment director and the lead manager of the Invesco Hong Kong and China Fund and Invesco PRC Equity Fund. Prior to this, she managed insurance, mutual funds and MPF investments specializing in Greater China markets for Manulife Asset Management (HK).
