An investment management company (www.fusionam.com) with offices in Moscow and London is looking for a finance controller for a group of 5 companies. The role is suitable for a 2-5 years experienced financial controller capable of consolidating finance function in one set of hands, produce management accounts and coordinate the bookkeeping and reports for all group companies
Russian incorporated company (simplified accounting, Moscow)
•Bookkeeping quarterly in 1C with creation and keeping of all supporting primary documentation, including the cashbook, P&L books, all “orders”
•Preparation of statutory accounts
•Preparation, keeping and submission (electronically where possible) of all corporate, tax and pension returns for the Russian company (annual, quarterly and monthly as appropriate) НДФЛ , ФСС (соцстрах), пенсионному фонду РСВ-1, отчет ФСС, and УСН , пенсионному фонду РСВ-1
•Ad hoc advice on tax and bookkeeping matters
•Liaising with the authorities ad hoc
•Input into quarterly group consolidated management accounts and reporting to management
•Input into annual group consolidated management accounts and reporting to management
Limited Liability Partnership / Limited Liability Companies (UK GAAP)
•Bookkeeping quarterly in SAGE or QuickBooks
•Preparation of statutory accounts
•Creation and maintenance of all supporting primary documentation
•Preparation, keeping and submission (electronically where possible) of all corporate (annual return and company secreterial) and tax (PAYE, VAT) for the LLP (annual, quarterly and monthly as appropriate)
•Ad hoc advice on tax and bookkeeping matters
•Dealing with authorities as required
•Reporting to the board on quarterly basis
•Preparation of quarterly group consolidated management accounts and reporting to CFO
•Preparation of annual financial statements for each company and consolidated group accounts
•Coordinating the audit for the group
To be based in Moscow with frequent travel to London (to be discussed)
No relocation to the UK
Other skills
•Languages: English (confident to liaise with auditors and service providers), Russian;
•High level proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
