Fleming Family & Partners name new asset management head for Russia

The Russian investment unit of the UK’s Fleming Family & Partners has named Rustam Issev as its general director to replace Andrei Uspensky.

Iseev, who was previously the firm’s managing director, takes over from Uspensky who quit to join Leader Asset Management, according to Prime-Tass, the news agency. Leader is the pension fund manager for energy giant Gazrpom.

Iseev previously worked at Financial Bridge, where he was most recently president after having previously been general director.  Fleming launching a fund management business in Russia following its acquisition of DWS Investments in Moscow from Deutsche Bank.

The UK firm manages the wealth of Roddy Fleming and his family, one of the City’s oldest dynasties. It also provides asset management for other  wealthy families. As well as providing advice to Russian corporate and personal clients in Moscow, FF&P has real estate funds that invest in the region.
