IronFX authorised by FCA to deal in all types of financial instruments

By Andrei Skvarsky.

IronFX Global, a global trader in foreign exchange, futures, shares, contracts for difference, commodities and spot metals, has received an enhanced licence from the British Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorising the company to act as principal and agent in investment, hold client funds, and deal in all types of financial instruments.

The new licence allows the Cyprus-based firm to “accept retail, professional and eligible counterparties as clients”, IronFX said in a statement.

The statement quoted IronFX chief executive Markos Kashiouris as saying the enhanced licence “enforces our goal to offer the highest protection to all our clients by being authorized and regulated by the most reputable financial regulators in the world”.

IronFX was awarded the title of Best Forex Research Reports broker for 2014 at a ceremony in London in September. The title was based on direct votes by the public.

The award credits the company’s global FX strategy team headed by Marshall Gittler.
