JP Morgan establishes local office in Kazakhstan

J.P. Morgan announced today that it has opened a representative office in Almaty, the country’s financial capital, further enhancing the reach and capabilities of its successful investment banking franchise.

The office is supported by J.P. Morgan’s industry and product teams worldwide, providing local Kazakhstan-based clients with a diversified line of investment banking products, including debt and equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and global markets solutions. The office will also promote J.P Morgan’s extensive range of specialized treasury & securities services.

J.P. Morgan has been present in the Kazakhstani market since the late 1990s and has been involved in a number of landmark transactions in the country, including ground-breaking M&A deals, major international IPOs and numerous bond issues from Kazakh issuers.
