UPDATE 2: London to host two tech-focused European insurance forums in October

(Quoting changed codes for attendance fee discounts).

Use of digital technology in insurance will be discussed in detail at two European conferences in London this October that are being organised by Insurance Nexus, a London-based intelligence company that is part of British-registered FC Business Intelligence.

The voluminous agenda for the Insurance AI and Analytics Europe conference on October 9-10 includes 16 or more case studies on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to speed up underwriting, to fast-track claims and to make other services more efficient.

There will be at least eight sessions on strategic points such as doing business amidst restrictions imposed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Use of automation to prevent fraud will be the subject of one of the forum’s numerous sessions.

The venue for the event is the Hilton Tower Bridge hotel in central London.

The other conference, Connected Claims Europe, will take place on October 29-30 and focus on the role of technology in interaction between insurers and their customers.

It will be held at the Park Plaza Victoria hotel, also in the city centre.

Major insurers such as Zurich, AXA, Generali and AIG will be represented at the two conferences.

EmergingMarkets.me readers may claim a discount of 200 pounds ($255 or 225 euros) on the attendance fee for each conference by quoting the 4952EM200 code for Insurance AI and Analytics Europe and the 4949EM200 code for Connected Claims Europe.
