London’s Banking Transformation Summit to address blockchain, DeFi, cybersecurity

Technology chiefs from top global banks will raise issues such as blockchain, decentralised finance and cybersecurity at Banking Transformation Summit 2019 in London on October 23.

The conference will discuss how blockchain is disrupting the financial world. It will debate whether decentralised finance (DeFi) – ecosystems comprised of digital applications or programs that run on a blockchain or network of computers and are outside any single authority – is going to change the financial landscape.

There is much else on the agenda, including the role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in financial sectors.

The main speakers are senior technology officers at BNP Paribas, Barclays, HSBC, Credit Suisse, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Santander.

The organiser of the Banking Transformation Summit is Nexus Mediacom, a company specialising in the organisation of technology-related business conferences and based in Bristol, United Kingdom.
