Ushakov worked in the European industrials and M&A groups at Merrill Lynch prior to his six-year London-based job as a director at the European natural resources group at Deutsche Bank, where he focused on metals and mining companies.

Marchuk was first based in New York and then in London during his period at J.P. Morgan, where, since 2005, he focused on cross-border and in-market M&A executions across geographies and industries, including oil and gas, utilities, chemicals, transport and infrastructure, Sberbank CIB said in a statement.

Both he and Ushakov report to investment banking co-heads Mickael Gibault and Pavel Sokolov.

A while ago Francois Mantion was hired as head of commodities, Sascha Prinz as head of rates and Nicholas Harwood as head of equity at Sberbank CIB.
