Aviva Investors, an investment management arm of British insurance group Aviva plc, has hired Fabrice Pellous from the Invesco investment company as co-head of global high yield.
Before his 10-year period at Invesco, Pellous had worked in various financial services companies, including Legal & General, AllianceBernstein and AXA Investment Managers.
Pellous is based in London and reports directly to Fraser Lundie, global head of fixed income, Aviva Investors said in a statement.
Several days before, Aviva Investors announced two more staff moves, according to statements from the company.
Gita Bal was hired from investment management company Fidelity International for a newly created role of head of fixed income research.
Before joining Fidelity, Bal held analyst roles at PIMCO, a U.S. fixed income-focused investment management company, and CreditSights, a financial research and advisory firm.
As Pellous, she will be based in London and report to Lundie.
Heather Brown was promoted from a role as a pension-related business development specialist to head of institutional client relations for the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
She reports to EMEA head of institutional Steven Gardner in her new capacity. Brown joined Aviva Investors in 2018 after a number of years as an investment and pension scheme consultant.
