Working as part of the Back Office team to process the deposits and withdrawals of clients’ funds from their trading accounts, as well as handling calls and emails from Alpari (UK) Ltd clients regarding the funding of their accounts, whilst working closely with other departments, namely Finance, Client Services, Trading Desk and Compliance.
Responsibilities:
* Allocating deposits made into our bank account via wire transfer or credit/debit card to the client’s trading account and making currency conversions where necessary
* Resolution of queries & investigations
* Processing clients’ withdrawal requests via online banking
* Carrying out various identification checks to comply with anti money-laundering regulations and prevent fraud
* Liaising with bank to investigate missing payments or anomalies
* Answering clients’ email queries and handling telephone calls concerning payments or other related queries
* Handling confidential information in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Alpari (UK) Ltd security requirements
* Assisting Compliance with queries and complaints, advising of any suspicious trends/money laundering activity on clients’ accounts in accordance with money laundering rules
Skills and Competencies:
* Excellent telephone manner
* Able to deal with difficult client queries and Investigations
* Confident
* Works well as part of a team in a pressurised and multi-tasking environment
Educational / Experience Requirements:
* Educated to minimum of A level or equivalent, although graduate level of education is advantageous
* Experience in any Financial Services environment
* Telephone or client facing experience essential
* Fluent in mandarin both verbally and written is essential
Personal Specification:
* This role requires a professional, hard working, results driven individual to work through the day to day duties of Back Office with an exceptional level of attention to detail.
