High-profile cryptocurrency entrepreneur Brock Pierce will be the keynote speaker at the planned BWC South blockchain educational conference in Hollywood on December 2-5, which will hear about 60 other speakers and have a range of networking and entertainment activities on its programme.
The aim of the forum is to “peel back the curtain for what is happening next in the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency”, the organiser, the Blockchain World Conference company, says on its website.
BWC South’s rather unusual agenda includes a full course on blockchain development, designated as “Blockchain Bootcamp”, a session on the use of blockchain in art, and a “crypto dinner” during which one would be able to pitch an initial coin offering (ICO).
The networking and entertainment events include a golf outing, a bonfire party on the beach, and a poker tournament with the winner to be rewarded in bitcoin.
