Connected Banking Summit East Africa, an international conference in Nairobi, on March 7, brought together numerous banks and financial services companies and addressed issues in fields such as digitalisation, cybersecurity and risk management.
The forum was the seventh conference in the Africa-focused Connected Banking Summit series organised by International Center for Strategic Alliances (ICSA), which described the Nairobi event as a “resounding success”.
The conference had been co-sponsored by Huawei, ABSA Bank Kenya, Cyber1 Solutions, Technology Fund Africa, and BA Consulting.
The official research partner for the event was Oxford Business Group. The official media partners were Kenyan company Nation Media Group (NMG) and Business Daily Africa, an English-language newspaper published by NMG.
The eighth event in the series, Connected Banking Summit South Africa, is slated to take place in Johannesburg on May 24, 2023.
