Numerous insurers, among them AIG, Generali and Zurich, are getting together in Amsterdam in September for a pan-European conference to discuss the digitisation of the claims function in insurance.
More than 250 senior claims executives are expected to attend the fourth annual Connected Claims Europe Summit, to be held on September 18-19.
The conference will look at proposals for digitization and review achievements that have been made, according to a statement from London-based event organiser Insurance Nexus, which is organising the forum.
Case studies will be seen and practical strategies discussed.
The conference will include 16 hours of networking based on the Brella networking app, and attendees will be able to schedule one-to-one meetings before the conference as well.
EmergingMarkets.me readers will be eligible for a 100-euro discount on the ticket price, which they would receive by quoting the 5057EM100 code.
Insurance Nexus said that it had recently carried out a survey questioning more than 450 senior European insurance executives and that the returns suggested that 92 per cent of the executive teams covered in the poll were “dedicated to transforming the claims function”.
The Connected Claims Europe Summit will take place at the Novotel Amsterdam City hotel, which in May hosted another Insurance Nexus-organised forum, Connected Insurance Europe.
