Various issues in the European pension industry, in risk management, and in collateral management will be addressed at conferences this May organised by event manager Global Leading Conferences (GLC).
The agenda of the Pan-European Pension Forum in Prague on May 17-18 includes European multi-pillar pension systems, cross-border and pan-European pension funds, the use of artificial intelligence in pension systems, the dilemma of active vs passive investing, and a critical analysis of the European Union’s capital markets union plan.
Subjects to be raised at the 4th Annual Risk Management Forum in Prague on May 24-25 include digitalisation and big data analytics in credit risk management, mathematics behind credit risk modelling, the non-performing loan problem in Europe, and regulatory developments.
Digitalisation is also on the agenda for the 7th Annual Collateral Management Forum in Amsterdam on May 24-25. The forum will also address a wide range of other issues, among them the use of distribured ledger technology in collateral management and suggested ways to remove Giovannini barriers – EU-formulated obstacles to efficient cross-border clearing and settlement in Europe.
