Andrey Donskikh, the former chairman of Uralsib Financial Corporation, has resurfaced at the state savings bank Sberbank in a senior role.
Donskih, who stepped down from his role at Uralsib in November after five years at the group, will come deputy president of the bank. A report in today’s Vedomosti said that Donskikh will be responsible for Sberbank’s international, corporate and investment banking arms.
At Uralsib, he was initially head of retail banking as well as regional network management. Later on he developed the group’s Financial Supermarket targeting retail clients.
Donskikh participated in the consolidation of the group’s five major banks in 2005. He was replaced at Uralsib by the former deputy chairman of the board Ildar Muslimov,
