PJT Partners, a New York-headquartered advisory-focused investment bank, has hired Matt Kovner, a former Bank of America and Credit Suisse banker, as a managing director for its strategic advisory group.
Kovner was a managing director in BofA’s industrials investment group and started his career at Credit Suisse, PJT said in a statement.
Kovner, who is based in New York, joined PJT this month, said an article on the eFinancialCareers website.
The article called PJT an “illustriously paying” boutique salary-wise but said its mergers and acquisitions team had been through “pretty mixed years”.
