Investment bank Renaissance Capital has hired Grigory Sedov as global head of private clients.
As his previous role, Sedov was partner and deputy CEO of Russian investment firm Aton, which focuses on services for wealthy individuals.
Sedov will be in charge of expanding RenCap’s range of services for private clients across the world with a focus on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net- worth individuals (HNWIs and UHNWs), the bank, which specialises in emerging and frontier markets, said in a statement.
He will also be a managing director of RenCap, be based in Moscow and report to the firm’s co-CEO Ruslan Babaev.
Sedov started his career at former Russian investment bank Troika Dialog in 2004. As deputy CEO of Aton, he managed the company’s private client business, mainly overseeing financial and advisory services to Russian HNWIs.
