Alexander Vengranovich, who was a real estate analyst at Renaissance Capital in 2007-2008, has returned to the Moscow-based investment bank, this time as global head of telecoms research.
Vengranovich will be based in Moscow and report to Daniel Salter, head of research for Eurasia and global head of equity strategy, RenCap, a bank focusing on emerging and frontier markets across the world, said in a statement.
Vengranovich’s latest job before rejoining RenCap was the role of a telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) and real estate researcher at Sova Capital, formerly Otkritie Capital.
His employment at Sova took up most of the period between his departure from RenCap in 2008 and his return to the company.
Before coming to RenCap in 2007, Vengranovich spent two and a half years as senior consultant in Deloitte & Touche’s TMT group for the Commonwealth of Independent States. His main area was audits of major clients.
