Cellrox, an Israeli start-up in the mobile services domain, has bagged a USD 4.7 mln round of funding during its Series A round. Led by Runa Capital, the company’s existing investors are also participating in the round. They include Columbia Technology Ventures and Previz Venture Partners, among others. The funding will be used to extend its OEM and operator network for tier 1 solutions to several enterprises around the globe. The key offering of the company is technology that enables multiple users to securely use a common device without compromising privacy and security. Operating in the ‘Buy Your Own Device” – or BYOD – market, it allows multiple virtual environments to be installed on a single device; this enables Android devices, for example, to host applications for multiple and independent users.
