Banks such as Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, UBS and UniCredit and regulators including the European Central Bank and European Risk Management Council will be represented at this event, which will address one of the hottest topics in today’s banking.
The vast number of subjects to be addressed at the 2nd Annual Credit Risk Management Forum include suggestions for new ways of managing credit risk and challenges presented for banks by Basel III.
Evgueni Ivantsov, chairman of the European Risk Management Council, will explain “why Basel III is not enough for ensuring financial stability”.
Reiner Martin, deputy head of the macro-financial linkages division of the European Central Bank, will explore the problem of non-performing loans in the euro zone.
Credit risk modelling, validation and counterparty credit risk are yet other items on the agenda of the conference, organised by the GLC Europe company.
