Swiss bank Julius Baer has hired six relationship managers for its Hispanic America operation, with five of the newcomers joining from Zurich-based bulge bracket bank Credit Suisse and two having worked at Spanish lender BBVA.
All six are due to take their jobs on February 1 and will be based in Zurich, Julius Baer said in a statement.
Those coming from Credit Suisse are Philipp Frischknecht, who will lead the team, Ricardo Amorin, Jürgen Ritz, Horacio Ruiz Moreno and Alejandro Moreno Basols.
Rodolfo Lizárraga Delgado has been hired from BBVA. Moreno Basols had worked at BBVA and Swiss bank Edmond de Rothschild before joining Credit Suisse.
Ruiz Moreno had worked at Argentina’s Banco Galicia before his stint at Credit Suisse.
The team will report to Andrea Cuomo, Julius Baer’s head for Hispanic America.
