Troika Dialog has hired Max Kolodkin from Goldman Sachs and Sergei Chinkis from HSBC to co-head its investment banking division.
Kolodkin, who was a managing director at Goldman and was involved in deals with major companies such as Coca-Cola and Unilever, will run a consumer and retail trade section, according to Russian business news agency Prime.
Chinkis will head the metals and mining unit, the role he had at HSBC.
The recruitment of Kolodkin and Chinkis, both of whom are due to start on their new jobs this month, is the latest in a recent series of hires to beef up Troika’s investment banking platform.
Earlier this summer, Sergei Khaliullin joined from Alfa-Bank as a director in the mergers and acquisitions execution team, Dimitri Casvigny from Credit Suisse as head of industrials and David Theys, an ex-senior manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, as head of telecoms media technology.
