Bankers, European Union officials and other financial services figures are going to meet at a conference in Vienna this September to look into challenges in collateral management that new regulations are giving rise to.
The International Collateral Management Forum on September 26-27 will have an extensive agenda that includes automation in collateral management and EU legislation such as the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), MiFID II (the 2014 revision of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive), and the Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR).
The European Commission, the European Association of CCP Clearing Houses (EACH – an organisation representing central counterparties) and Citibank will be the key presenters.
There will also be other major banks sich as Deutsche Bank, Societe Generale and ABN AMRO among the participants.

The conference is being organised by ICT Solutions, a Budapest-based organiser of conferences and trainings.
