Moscow-based investment bank Renaissance Capital has hired Oladipupo Adekanmbi, previously an adviser at Nigeria’s FBNQuest Merchant Bank, as vice-president, investment banking, Nigeria.
A statement from RenCap, a bank focusing on emerging and frontier markets across the globe, cited Risana Zitha, RenCap’s head of investment banking for Africa, as crediting Adekanmbi with “extensive experience advising both public and private sector clients”.
Adenkanmbi’s clientele has come from industries including “financial services, power, real estate, oil and gas, agriculture, aviation, telecommunications and professional services”, Zitha said.
RenCap said Adekanmbi’s financial career has been more than ten years long.
Adekanmbi reports to Zitha and Temitope Popoola, RenCap’s CEO for Nigeria, and is based in Lagos.
